The Bizzarrini P538 Roadster is a modern day tribute to the man, Mr. Bizzarrini, and his cars that were built in the mid 60's to race at Le Mans.
Based on the Galmer Arbitrage GT chassis, the P538 is a re-bodied Roadster version retaining essentially all of the original design but embracing the "open top" body concept with the style of the original 1966 P538.
Mr. Giotto Bizzarrini originally built Roadsters to race in the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hour race. The first powered by a Lamborghini V12 and the second a 7 Liter GM V8 engine. The new car which carries his name and type number (P538), uses the latest generation GM LS7 V8 motor, and has been openly accepted by Mr. Bizzarrini as a fitting tribute and a car to carry his name into the modern era.
Here are a few preliminary renderings of the P538.
